The Invincible Daitarn 3 (無敵鋼人ダイターン3?, Muteki kōjin Daitān 3, lit. "Daitarn 3, the invincible steel man")[1] is a television series Japanese anime of the mecha genre, produced by Sunrise and created by Yoshiyuki Tomino, also the author of Gundam, with mecha design by Kunio Ōkawara and music by Takeo Watanabe and Yūshi Matsuyama. The series, consisting of 40 episodes, was made in 1978 and first broadcast in Italy in 1980 under the title Daitarn III.
