Description

Inspired by all the various versions of spool weights, this design is built in OpenSCAD and can create a model for a spool of any size. Because I primarily use a few different brands, I wanted to be able to have spool weights for the different brands and have them labeled.

You can change the spool diameter, thickness, number of weights, size of weights, and label. The label is printed as a single layer and requires painting in Bambu Studio.

 

Bambu model is about 54mm diameter and 62mm height, should fit the standard bambu spool.

 

Sunlu model is about 72mm diameter and 61mm height, should fit the plastic Sunlu spools (either solid or with openings on the side).

 

Note to use the scad file, you need to download the BOSL library since it is used to generate the threads. Download and place into a folder called BOSL next to the scad file.

worked great, I used 1 1/2” 1/4” bolts with nuts in them for the weight, a little noiser if you don’t glue, but seems to work. batteries have a nice snug fit so may go back to them just figured the nuts have no chance of leaking :)

Bitte Öffnungen für Batterien ca 1 mm größer machen, da Amazon basic aa Batterien passen nicht rein. Man muss diese zuerst "schälen", damit die rein passen
