Modular Hat Hangar

Do you have a lot of hats? Many hats? Maybe slightly too many hats? 😅 Have you tried out other hat hangars but were disappointed by them? Now you can build your own modular hat hangar to hold as many hats as you like!

The design of this hangar is simple: each segment uses a puzzle-piece fitted end and you can choose which modules you want, depending on the number and type of hats that you have. Modules are included for the following hats:

• Snapback (aka “trucker hats”): uses a raised hook to hold the hat at the snapback point
• Fitted hats: uses a flatter arm with a smaller hook to fit nicely behind the inner brim
• Winter/knitted hats: uses a long arm with extra support to keep them in place

Each module is 11cm long and fits two hats. This is enough room to see all the hats, and lets you easily grab a hat from the middle of the hangar without knocking all the other hats off. Compared to other hangars, this design is vertical since it makes it more stable (ie, does not require an equal amount of hats on both sides of the hangar) and easily extensible.

The puzzle-piece module is designed to be tight and strong. Printing with PLA is recommended since the fit is meant to be exact. Also, PLA has great tensile strength, useful for storing a large number of hats.
