Bambu Lab X2D Top Glass Lid Riser – External Filtration Solution

The X2D Glass Lid Riser is designed to lift the printer's glass lid, creating additional internal clearance that improves airflow. When paired with external ventilation or filtration systems, the riser supports more effective air movement by taking advantage of the natural air circulation. This makes it especially useful when printing engineering materials such as ABS or ASA, where controlled airflow and fume management are important.

Beyond airflow improvements, the increased clearance also helps reduce friction between the PTFE tube and the glass lid and minimize long-term wear on both components.

Installation is completely tool-free and follows the same simple setup process as our P2S glass lid riser, making it quick and easy to install or remove whenever needed.

Installation Guide

1) Connect the frame pieces: Use the dovetail connectors to join each part together. Make sure all joints are fully seated and aligned for a secure fit.

2) Install the front covers: Slide the covers into the designated slots on the frame. By default, the covers with editable text should be installed on the front side. The vent port can be installed on either the front-left or front-right side.

3) Final check: Once all parts are assembled and in place, your X2D Glass Lid Riser should look like the finished setup shown. Ensure everything is properly seated and stable before use.
