Naruto Egg - Interlocking Storage Box

This model is not just a fun display piece, but also functions as a real box. It is composed of two separate parts (head and body) that are completely hollow inside. Thanks to the internal threading system, the two halves screw together and interlock securely, making it the perfect item to hide small objects, candies, or to use as a fantastic and original Easter egg-style gift box.

🤖 Model creation: The concept and base of this 3D model were generated using the power of Meshy AI. I then processed and optimized the files to ensure the walls had the correct thickness and that the screw fitting worked perfectly for 3D printing.

⚙️ Printing tips:

• Material: PLA, PETG or ABS (PETG offers excellent flexibility for threaded parts, but PLA works perfectly for aesthetic details).
• Layer height: 0.12 mm - 0.16 mm. A thinner layer height is highly recommended to ensure that face details, hair, and especially the screw threads are precise and move smoothly without friction.
• Infill: 10% - 15%. The model is already hollow, so infill will only apply to solid walls and the base.
• Supports: Yes. Supports will be needed (tree supports are recommended) to support the protruding arms and some hair tips.
• Orientation: Print the two pieces by placing them flat on the build plate (body base down and head base down) to ensure a clean vertical thread.
