The dowelMount part is printed, then seats two rods of 9.5mm fiberglass.
Four copies of the bracket are included to build a towel rack or similar dispenser.
The dispenser can be wall-mounted.
Function:
The bracket forms a drill guide for making holes in the wood to be joined.
The hole in the bracket gives clearance (or slip fit) for a small screw (near M4, course thread)
Two screws pass through the wood panel, through the bracket holes and into the rods.
Design Specs:
Wood has 1/4 in thickness
Dowels have 9.5mm OD (fiberglass rods)
Mount uses 75mm hole spacing
Screws are No.8 size or 4.1mm major diameter
Example Project:
The towel rack (shown in photos) is intended as a kitchen organizer with lower cost and easier build with fewer tools, compared with traditional woodworking solutions.
