Infinity

"INFINITY" is a desk sculpture inspired by the geometry of the Möbius strip and the organic forms of nature. Two ribbons intertwine in an ascending spiral, creating a sense of perpetual motion and continuous harmony. The smooth surface with Carrara white marble-colored veins evokes classical sculptural tradition, while its abstract and vertical form makes it a contemporary design object. The solid circular base ensures stability and an elegant stand on any desk.

Recommended Filament

• white PLA Matte — ideal for imitating the matte marble look and hiding layer lines
• Alternatively: white PLA+ for greater strength

Slicer Settings

Orientation

• Print vertically, with the circular base on the print bed — exactly as you see it in the model
• ✅ No supports needed thanks to the open spiral geometry

Tricks for a Perfect Finish

• Use the "Seam Alignment → Aligned" option in your slicer to hide the layer start seam on the back of the sculpture
• Enable "Variable Layer Height" to optimize details in curves
• Clean the print bed with 90% isopropyl alcohol before starting
• If necessary, add a thin brim to improve base adhesion

Post-Print Finishing

• Gently sand with fine sandpaper (400-800 grit) for a more marble-like appearance
• You can apply a white satin spray paint for an even more realistic effect
