Need a last minute Halloween costume or maybe you just like the sims?

Try out this fully 3D printed plumbob headband. It was designed to be lit by an optional balloon light.

I printed it with hatchbox transparent green pla and had to dry it out for 8 hours to get the moisture out. You can print it in any of color you want and it does not need to be transparent, as the walls are printed thin enough that it will still glow without transparent material. The stem and head band are printed in bambu black pla basic. For the balloon light I used the green one found here, https://a.co/d/bkQjGnI.

Assembly is easy as all the parts just slide together. Slide the stem into the headband, it is a tight fit so it does not come loose. If it’s too tight a little sandpaper or a knife will make quick work if it. Place the light in the stem before inserting it into the plumbob.

This is super cool! The print turned out so good. Used prusament transparent neon green petg. perfect color with the light. A little late to the Halloween party but still printing for a friend who is a HUGE sims 4 fan and I know they’ll love it. waiting for the material to print the headband. Have also considered mortifying to sit on a stand and run off a rechargeable batter. That would be cool. Thanks for sharing!

this is a great print but the only thing I can complain about is the very loose fit to the headband. not a huge deal though.

the part where the plumbob slides onto was smaller than it should be but one layer of painters tape added enough to make it snug

might have to add a small piece of tape to the headband for a tight fit between the diamond section and the stem, other than that it looks great is is extremely sturdy
