Raspberry Pi 5" Touch Display 2 Cyberdeck | Magnetic Detachable Keyboard

Turn the Raspberry Pi 5" Touch Display 2 into a compact portable cyberdeck with this all-in-one enclosure featuring a magnetic detachable keyboard.

Unlike a standard display case, this version transforms the display into a miniature Linux laptop that's perfect for coding, SSH sessions, gaming, Home Assistant dashboards, system monitoring, or simply having a tiny laptop.

Features

  • Magnetic detachable keyboard
  • Foldable clamshell design
  • Uses the official Raspberry Pi 5" Touch Display 2
  • Standard Raspberry Pi mounting compatibility
  • Compact and portable
  • Clean, minimalist aesthetic

Hardware Required

  • Raspberry Pi 5
  • Raspberry Pi 5" Touch Display 2
  • Rii Wireless mini keyboard/trackpad (shown in photos)
  • 2 × 5 mm neodymium magnets x12

The design uses the standard Raspberry Pi mounting arrangement on the rear of the display for maximum compatibility while adding a convenient magnetic keyboard attachment. The case is compatable with many Pi 5 cases to protect the pi on the back.

If you build one, I'd love to see your makes—please upload photos and share your setup!
