Here is my design for a smaller pool skimmer. It fits the Bestway Steel Pro Pool

Printed with Generic PETG:

  • Skimmer
  • Float
  • Lower part of the telescopic arm
  • Screws

Printed with TPU for AMS:

  • Seals
  • 90° hose connectors
  • Straight hose connectors

Printed with PA6-GF:

  • Upper part of the telescopic arm (ASA is also theoretically suitable)

All screws are very stiff at first and must be lubricated (e.g., with silicone grease). Then carefully and slowly screw the screws in and out several times to prevent material softening of the PETG due to frictional heat

That sounds a bit more natural and technical. "Material softening due to frictional heat" is more common in German than "PETG material softening due to friction"
