Description

I install a ton of vinyl for work and so I wanted to see how a printed squeegee would come out. It works surprisingly well and looks great with a very low layer height. And depending on the filament that's used, you can get different stiffnesses. I like to print 2 halves and glue them together. Also I'll stretch it to make some 6 and 8 inch versions.

Print and design is fine, no problems there. I would just add as a suggestion some alignment features to the parts to make it a bit easier when aligning/glueing them together. Thanks !

What were you thinking as far as alignment features? Maybe some parts on either end that snap together?

I think you could just add two spaced holes in the middle of each part and in this way you could just slide a bit o filalament in both holles and then cut them flush with some side cutters.

You used to have this file available to print standing up, and both parts but together. Is there anyway to have access to this file? Thanks! Great model I use it for screen printing.

I uploaded a whole squeegee with vertical orientation for you. This profile is how I would print it, but the raw STL is available if you'd like to slice your own. And you probably already know this but printing it vertically will add layer lines, so a buffer of some sort is suggested to smooth the edges. Thanks for the suggestion!
