IKEA TANDLUNDFLY No-Drill Window Adapter for German Windows

This adapter allows the IKEA TANDLUNDFLY blind to be mounted on a typical German tilt-and-turn window without drilling into the window frame.

The design hooks onto the window frame, allowing the blind to be securely installed while keeping the window fully functional. The window can still be closed normally after installation.

Hardware Required

• 4 × Spax screws (3.5 × 16 mm)

Printing Recommendations

• Material: PETG (recommended)
• Layer height: 0.20 mm
• Infill: 30–50%
• Supports: Not required (depending on slicer settings)
• Print orientation: As provided in the STL files

Installation

1. Print two left and two right adapters (depending on your window setup).
2. Attach the IKEA mounting brackets to the adapters using four 3.5 × 16 mm Spax screws.
3. Hook the adapters onto the window frame.
4. Install the TANDLUNDFLY blind according to IKEA's instructions.

Notes

• Designed and tested on a standard German PVC window.
• PETG is strongly recommended because it offers better durability and heat resistance than PLA, especially in direct sunlight.
• Please verify the dimensions of your window frame before printing, as window profiles may vary between manufacturers.
