Description

Blitz by Chance but with a bearing constrained trigger for a smooth and stable trigger pull.

Inspired by seeing this done on another blaster, and putting a Blitz together soon, I remixed the trigger box to use F683ZZ bearings and a 12/14mm 3mm pin to make the trigger smoother. It turned out pretty great imo so here you go.

BOM (Changes to original)

2x F683ZZ bearings

1x 3mm x 12mm pin or 3mm x 14mm pin (14mm is easier to put together, both work fine)

This replaces 1 of the M3 x 15 screws usually used.

Assembly

  1. Press the bearings into each side of the trigger with the flange facing out. It is a tight fit but should go in if you align them right.
  2. Check the bearings are flush.
  3. Push the pin through the hole in the bearings, it should spin nicely.
  4. I did not find I needed any lubrication but a very small amount of silicone oil might help.
  5. Insert the trigger like normal, the spring may make it fly out without the other half on, so leave it until you finish soldering.
  6. Continue as normal.

I have included 2 sets of files, 1 for the 12mm and one for the 14mm. .STEPs will also be there for modification.

If you build this, post a make so I can see how it turned out!
