Yet another hex bit holder.
IMPORTANT info:
I printed six (6) of these on my P1S printer, using BambuLab PLA. Dimensions were spot on.
Later i printed some more, but this time with some finetuned Sunlu Recycled PLA. The dimensions were to tight for me to get any hex bits in the holes.
If this happens to you, try and scale the model on the X and Y axis. Dont overdo the scaling, perhaps scale the model to 101 % on the X and Y axis and keep the the Z axis on 100 %.
Be warned, this design is not practical if you need to be able to quickly select a bit in the middle, you will need a plier or small fingers.
I created this merely for storage of an excessive amount of hex bits.
I printed mine with the following settings, which turned out nicely.
Feel free to experiment with lower or higher settings
Edges are chambered.
Print is W100 x L100 x H12 mm
Holes are 10 mm deep.
Pattern: cubic
infill: 15 %
Polygons in the sketch was made with 3.85mm, meaning 7,7 mm for the bit. It sits pretty snug in there, but if you turn it upside down, things are gonna get annoying :)
