I am having nothing but issues with this print. I am using GiantArm silver PETG which has routinely performed well, so I am doubtful it's the filament. The first print had the rod with LOTS of surface defects. Granted I increased the walls to 4 and set the gyroid infill to 25% (I have kids that will use this) but that shouldn't cause this issue. The little screw part also didn't want to screw into the rod. I repreinted just the rod turning it 90 degrees, dropping it down to 2 walls, and turning off ironing (why that's on for a rod print is beyond me) and it printed better. The screw went in fine this time so there was something definitely off about how the rod is printing. I think tried to use it and a roll of toiletpaper barely fits on it. Ok... so I need to resize it and I chose 105%. I kept it 25% gyroid infill and I went with 3 walls. Again ironing was off and the surface issues came back. I also couldn't get the new larger screw in the new larger rod and it eventually snapped off as I tried to force the threading. I freely admit the issue may be with me and something I am doing, but I print a lot an can't recall an issue like this.

Other Issues:it may be because I was printing in PETG. I don’t know - but unfortunately it came out really stringy and unusable :(
