Foldable Wall Hook Coat Hook Bag Hook

I wanted a wall hook that can also carry heavier loads, opens and closes easily and smoothly, and stays folded when folded.

Here is my solution for these requirements.

The wall hook has a modular design to achieve as many color variations as possible without relying on an AMS.

The wall hook can securely hold loads up to 7 kg without issues and can be operated by using two 8x3x4 type 693ZZ deep groove ball bearings

to easily open and close two 5x2 magnets hold the hook in position when not in use.

furthermore a 3x22 dowel pin is needed.

I printed all the individual parts on three different Bambu Lab A1 mini printers with Bambu Lab PETG HF and a layer height of 0.12 mm with gyroid infill.

Although the parts were made on different printers, the parts fit together very well.

Since the magnets are difficult to insert into the housing because space is very limited and fingers are thick, I have included a tool for inserting the magnets.

As always I have distributed the individual parts on different build plates.

The individual frames can of course be omitted depending on taste, although the first frame should be used as otherwise the dowel pin would not be secure and could fall out of the housing.

The ball bearings cost per piece of

approximately 13 cents ordered from Amazon Germany.

I also ordered the dowel pins there for 8 cents per piece.

One drawback of my implementation is the fact that support structures cannot be entirely avoided, therefore I have added two more models where the middle part that holds the magnet is printed separately and thus no supports are needed.

This part is then secured with two additional 3x22 dowel pins.
