Boosting let's me know you want more action cam gear, I'm always looking for new ways to improve the user experience!
Designed initially for the DJI Osmo Action 6, this modular rugged case system was created to make the camera more adaptable for everyday use, travel, filming, and toting around all of your accessories in one place. The design focuses on modularity, allowing components to be swapped or expanded depending on the situation. Whether you want lightweight protection, improved mounting flexibility, or a more customized rig, the system is built to be easy to print, easy to assemble, and easy to modify.
While this was Lovingly designed around the DJI Osmo Action 6, It is easily modifiable to fit ANY action cam system. I have included Blank insert .STEP files for the top and bottom layers in the files section to freely download and modify.
Additional Hardware needed for this project:
- 6pcs M3x35 screws
- 6pcs M3 Hex nuts
This project was designed as a practical everyday solution rather than just a display model. All files are released publicly so the community can print, remix, improve, and adapt the system for their own equipment needs
Printing Notes:
- Recommended material for shell: PETG, ASA, or PLA+
- Recommend TPU for the Insert material
- Use at least 3 walls for durability
