This is the second of three designs by Thrutheframe for the A1 mini. These 3 essential printable accessories that you will need for your new printer.

While the hardware for all 3 builds can be self-sourced, I am working with Veetec3D to offer an A1 mini Hardware Kit for all the 3 builds above. It will include the 6x3mm magnets, M3 screws, VHB, thin double-sided tapes, and pre-cut self-adhesive anti-slip pads. Printed parts are not included.

The price is 10€ with tracked shipping at 5€, making the total cost at 15€. We try our best to keep the pricing affordable for everyone to have easy access to the required hardware for all 3 builds. In addition, parts and labor are sourced within EU. If you like the designs by ThrutheFrame and wish to support his projects, do consider buying this kit. INTRODUCTION

There are 2 types of build plates available for the A1 mini; PEI textured and PEI matte. Most people order extra plates just in case. Hence I designed this build plate holder/stand to organise up to 4 build plates for your A1 mini.

As the A1 mini may be the user's first 3D printer, I set up a few parameters when designing the stand:

• Aesthetically pleasing, Easy to print/assemble and Fun to use.
• Optimize print time and filament usage
• Must fit onto the A1 build plate of 180x180x180mm
• Stable and sturdy
• Minimal or no support needed
• Printed in PLA, PLA+ or PLA pro

There are 3 printed components. A1 is the main spline and B1s are the side support. 4 pcs of M3x8mm BHCS are required to secure both B1 to A1. Optional rubber or EVA foam can be used to improve grip on the table.

There are 3 versions of B1:

1. Plain no logo
2. Numbered 1 to 4
3. with the Bambu Lab logo

INSTRUCTIONS

Download the 3mf file. The settings are prepared for printing PLA on an A1 mini. If you are printing on a different printer, please make the necessary changes to the settings. I have designed the parts based on 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height. Print in 0.2mm layer height for accuracy.

Build Plate 01 - A1

A1 is the main spline and is required to print it. Note that it is printed at an angle on the 180x180mm build-plate and will need at least 4 top shell layers with the infill direction is 90 degrees. I have prepared the setting in Bambu Slicer. You will only need to change it if you are using the stl on a different slicer.

Build Plate 02 - B1 plain, No logo

You will need to print 2 pcs of this part. I have prepared the setting in Bambu Slicer. You will only need to change it if you are using the stl on a different slicer.

(Optional) Build Plate 03 - B1 with number and BL logo

Optional if you want a side support with some design. there are 2 designs.

(Optional) Build Plate 04 - B1 BL logo coloured

Optional if you want a dual color side support with Bambu Lab logo

INSTALLATION

• A1 and B1 are connected with a pair of dove tails slots.
• Slide B1 into A1 and secure it with 2 M3x8 BHCS. Note that the screw holes are self-tap, please do not over-tighten them or it can cause stripping.

• (Optional) Paste the rubber / eva foam to the base of the stand.
• The DXF and SVG of the foam can be found in the zip file available for download.
• You can also manually cut them. (Dimension 52x50mm)
