Christmas snowball town holes modelled to allow micro led string lights to be inserted into the house of the town, space in the base of the model for a battery pack
This is an amazing design.
After reading some comments that the roofs do have a gap, i was not not shure to give it a try, but i decided to download the file.
Surprisingly i discovered that the print profile is for the A1. So i adjusted the settings to the X1C with Bambu Basic PLA White.
In the slicer preview i discovered also that the roofs do have gaps and i played a little with the settings.
Here are my settings for a perfect print and fully closed roofs:
- 0.16 hight
- Infill: Gyroid at 5%
- Wallbuild mode: Arachne
- Tree support: Small Trees (just in case, but not really needed)
Thank you for the advice! With these modified options i was able to get rid of the holes on the roof. Also a bit slower layers print speed helped as well.
the globe doesn't sit flat on the base for me... and the houses aren't closed in the corners.... but you have to look real close to tell.... overall I like it.... lit it with colored fairy lights.... X1C/.4 nozzle/.2 layers/Inland PLA+ generic settings
