Historic Description: The Junkers Ju-87, popularly known as the "Stuka" (short for Sturzkampfflugzeug, meaning dive bomber), was designed by Hermann Pohlmann in the early 1930s. It made its first flight in 1935 and entered service with the Luftwaffe in 1937.
