Bit of a weird design where the lid is held on by the friction of rubbing against the toploader, so if you tried to make it not rub, then the lid would just fall off. I think it's fine since the wear on the toploader will be minimal and it's not damaging the card inside but perhaps it could have a better mechanism.
It’s meant to be a friction fit with the sides of the lid, not the toploader. I wasn’t a huge fan of this design while using it because I thought it was (1/2)
-overly large and bulky. To remove friction fits(which are inconsistent because of different filament types/flow rate) I designed my new box to use magnets. Take a look if you want!
I appreciate the response! I'll definitely check it out. In the meanwhile we're still using this one and it's working just fine :) My A1 mini printed it so that the sides are not where the friction happens, but as I said, it's still working even if not as intended.
