Description

I wanted to print a wall clock for my living room, but none of the existing options really appealed to me. I was looking for a design with a woodwork aesthetic, Roman numerals, and the largest size I could possibly print. So, I decided to create my own.

It took me hours to incorporate the Kumiko pattern and find a design that I truly liked. I'm not very experienced with CAD drawing, and I was close to giving up, but pushing through the challenge was absolutely worth it. I wasn't entirely convinced by having the clock mechanism visible, so I created an updated version that covers the background.

You can find four versions of the model with different color configurations. It fits perfectly on my H2D plate, and printing it in dual-color generates almost no waste.

For the clock mechanism, I picked up a simple, affordable, and silent one from Amazon. The center hole is around 7.8mm, so if you plan to buy a different mechanism, be sure to check the dimensions. You can always adjust the hole size in Bambu Studio using the 'add part' or 'add negative part' functions.

I hope you like it! I plan to design another version in the future that will be even more customizable.
