This is a UFO-shaped pet slow feeder. Its design combines a flying saucer, cat ears, and cute pet-themed details. Although the inspiration comes from cats, it is not only suitable for cats — small dogs can also use it. It helps pets slow down their eating by pawing, rotating, and searching for food, while also adding a bit of interaction and exploration fun.

It is recommended to use dry food, freeze-dried treats, or small snacks with a diameter of less than 1.5 cm. Try to choose pieces that are relatively regular in shape and easy to roll or slide. If the food is too large, too flat, too sticky, or very irregular in shape, it may get stuck in the maze channels and affect the dispensing effect.

Structurally, this slow feeder uses a multi-layer assembly design. The top part is a lid with cat ears, the middle includes the feeding tray layer and outer tray structure, and the bottom consists of the maze layer and weighted base layer. Food moves through the internal maze channels, and pets need to paw at the UFO or push the food so that the treats slowly come out through the channels, achieving both slow feeding and interactive play.

Assembly Instructions: I have also prepared structural diagrams and sectional views to help everyone understand how the internal parts fit together. The sectional view shows the relationship between each layer, including the feeding tray layer, the upper and lower outer tray layers, the maze channels, and the bottom weighted space. Before printing and assembling, you can refer to the diagrams to confirm the correct order. The pink decorative parts need to be glued on, while all other parts are fixed with a threaded structure.

If your pet usually eats too quickly, or enjoys pawing at small treats, this UFO slow feeder may be a good fit. Of course, every pet has different habits, so for the first use, it is recommended to observe from the side and make sure the food size, dispensing smoothness, and your pet’s way of using it are all suitable before using it as a daily little toy.

I hope this little UFO brings some freshness to your furry friend and makes feeding time a little more fun.

Mikang wishes you happy printing!
