Description

As my P1P sits in an enclosure and it's difficult to reach behind it, I cut Enrico Pulvirenti's excellent poop chute in half and added magnets to both hold the parts together and to hold it to the back of the printer. You will need 24 8x3mm magnets to do this build. I also shortened the side chute a bit to help it fit on the plate. You can print both parts at one time if you want, without support.

(PROTIP: mark one side of your magnets with a Sharpie as you pull them apart to help you keep up with orientation; this is a lot of magnets to keep up with.)

Got the Same issue (additional enclosure) as you. Getting behind the Printer would be a mess - as i am still in the process of building the enclosure i found your model/remix. Pretty Happy with the Outcome, Magnets fitted perfect without glue - Just a bit fearsome Sound of Filament cracking on 1-2 of them. i think the overhangs werent perfect here. Would add a little bit of support If i had to Reprint on the Part thats on the printer. Got some Spaghetti on the small stand (Pic 3) for the 90° Angles after the First 3 Magnets. Otherwise perfect & thanks for your Work!

One of the first prints I did on my X1C back in November. Has been working flowlessly since then :-)

first print printed in petg and came out amazing apart from one small part which was on me

Looks like the model I want to use, is there a way to make the logo a separate part or more defined for painting
