Spiral flower pot – Modern Minimal Design for 3D Printing
A clean and modern spiral planter designed specifically for FDM 3D printing.
The flowing helical ribs create a soft organic look while also reinforcing the structure of the pot.
This model is optimized to print easily on most consumer 3D printers without supports.

Printing Recommendations
- Layer height: 0.20 mm
- Wall count: 3–4 perimeters
- Infill: 10–15%
- Supports: Not required
- Material: PLA / PETG recommended
- Seam position: Back or aligned
- Arachne wall generator recommended
- Monotonic top surfaces enabled for cleaner finish
Scaling
The model scales very well.
You can:
- scale it down for small succulents,
- or scale it up for larger plants.
Recommended scaling range:
- 70% → small decorative planter
- 100% → standard desktop planter
- 130–180% → large statement planter
The planter shown in the photo was printed at 70% scale.
Notes
- Increasing the scale also increases wall thickness and overall strength.
- For outdoor use, PETG or ASA is recommended.
- For best visual quality, use matte filament or silk PLA.
Suggested Print Orientation
Print directly on the bottom surface.
No supports needed.
