Description

The Easter season is often filled with simple treats, but I wanted to create something that offers a bit more of a mental challenge. This 3D-printed Easter Egg Maze transforms a classic holiday symbol into an interactive mechanical puzzle. It’s designed to be more than just a decoration; it’s a tactile experience that tests your patience and spatial awareness.

At first glance, the model looks like a standard, sleekly designed Easter egg, fitting perfectly into any festive display. However, hidden within its geometry is a complex internal track. The goal is simple but addictive: navigate a small internal pin through the winding corridors of the shell to unlock the mechanism or simply reach the finish line.

One of the primary goals of this design was to ensure it remains printable for hobbyists and professionals alike. I’ve optimized the tolerances to ensure that the moving parts glide smoothly without being too loose. Whether you are using a basic PLA or a more decorative silk filament, the maze is engineered to hold its detail and functionality.
