Description

FFBeast Encoder Mount / Hoverboard Base Support

I designed this encoder mount as a more complete and functional solution for the FFBeast. Unlike many models available, this part does more than just hold the encoder in place: it was also designed to allow the lower structure to be mounted on the original hoverboard shell, which is the base used to install the motors, brackets, and other components.

This part was designed to:

  • Secure the encoder firmly in place.
  • Provide encoder height adjustment.
  • Clear the motor mounting screws.
  • Use the original mounting holes from the hoverboard shell.
  • Allow an M8 bolt to pass through for attaching the main frame to the table.

I printed the part in PETG for better strength, and in my case I used 50% infill, but it can also be printed solid if the user prefers a more rigid part.
