Bed frame risers
Print Profile(0)
Description
Model designed to raise the bed base 2 centimeters from the floor compared to its original height.
As can be seen from the measurement photo, it can be mounted on bed bases with legs having a diameter of 25 millimeters and an inclination of 75 degrees relative to the floor.
They feature an inclined inner support base because the bed frame's support tubes are cut at 90 degrees but, when the bed base is open and resting on the floor, they are not perpendicular to the floor; the risers therefore compensate for this difference.
In the photo, they were printed in PLA but can be printed in any material; if you want to use TPU, I recommend using an internal infill of not less than 30% because they must support weight and at the same time cushion the bed base.
If your floor is not level, I recommend using special "socks" to be applied under the risers, printed in TPU, to compensate for various unevennesses, or, alternatively, to print the model directly in TPU; in the latter case, however, an adequate infill should be applied as the material, being excessively soft, would not be able to support the weight of the bed.
