Ultralight High-Performance Glider (Only 4g!)
Take your flying skills to the next level with this extremely light and aerodynamic glider. With a total weight of only 4 grams this model is optimized for maximum flight duration and stability
The design is minimalist robust and can be printed in the shortest time perfect for small competitions in the garden or park
Highlights:
- Ultralight: Weighs only approximately 4 grams (depending on the filament)
- Fast Print: Completed in a few minutes ideal as a small gift or for a quick print
- No Support Needed: The model is designed to be printed without support structures
Print Settings (Recommended):
- Material: PLA (e.g. Bambu PLA Basic or PLA Matte)
- Layer Height: 0.1mm
- Infill: 100% (since the model is so thin weight hardly plays a role but ensures stability)
- Walls: 2-3 lines
- Brim: Not strictly necessary
Flying Tips:
- Hold the glider at the front center of gravity (in front of the wing)
- Throw it with a gentle straight motion
- Tuning: If it pulls up too steeply you can slightly bend the trailing edge of the elevator down (or vice versa)
