Marker Base for Revopoint Marker Block Kit

This marker base is designed for use with the Revopoint bar markers from the Scanner Marker Block Kit. If you don’t have a Revopoint turntable with built-in mounting points, this provides a simple way to use those markers effectively.

The Revopoint marker kit is excellent, but many users (myself included) rely on basic turntables without threaded mounts. This makes it difficult to use the bar markers in an upright position. To solve this, I created a base that allows the bar markers to be securely screwed in and used vertically.

With these bases, you can combine bar markers and magnetic ball markers in an upright configuration, ideal for scanning taller objects.

Assembly & Print Instructions

• Print the base using your preferred preset profile. For added weight and stability, consider increasing wall count and infill.
• Press an M6 nut into the top of the base so it sits flush. The fit is intentionally tight, use heat or pressure if needed.
• If the fit is slightly loose (depending on your printer tolerances), a small amount of glue can help secure the nut.
• The bases are angled, allowing you to optionally add marker dots for improved tracking.
