Description

Spanish comic artist Francisco Ibáñez died not long ago. He was famous for "Mortadelo y Filemón" aka "Clever & Smart" or "Mort & Phil".
Fans of his comics will remember the little six-leged spider that could be found outside of the comic panels - the so called Ibáñez-Spider.

This spider and its web is my homage to Francisco Ibáñez.

Print the spiderweb and the spider seperatly. For the web it is important to set the line width for the first layer to 0,45mm. Use standard-settings for the rest of the line widths.
If you have an AMS or MMU print the spider with two-colours. For those with a single colour printer I recommend you paint the eyes white with black pupils.
The 3mf file is for Bambu Lab printer and contains two plates - one for the web and one for the spider.

Use double-sided tape to stick the web to a doorframe or something else.

PS: Yes, the spider has only six legs. That is how an Ibáñez-Spider looks like.

My wife loves this print. I made one to surprise her. Had to print two extra to hang elsewhere in the house. My wife thinks it's so cute, although it scared her at least 5 times today... :-D

Could do with the tolerances being a bit more forgiving as the only way I could get the spider stuck to the Web was by gluing the 2 halves together around the strand rather than being able to slot it on but prints well and looks great 👍

Unfortunately, there seemed to be some kind of errors with the painting on the 3mf. There were tiny spots of white in the body, causing just the spider to take nearly 4 hours to print.
