Description

After searching for a long time, I couldn’t find a good solution that stored these large models neatly without taking up too much space—so I designed one.

This rack lets you display your cars vertically in a clean, organized way while keeping everything freestanding and modular. Just print more sets and stack as your collection grows.

🧩 Features

  • Designed for LEGOs Technic 1:8 scale supercars
  • Stackable modular system
  • Space-saving vertical storage
  • Freestanding (no wall mounting required)
  • Clean display that keeps focus on the cars

🖨️ Print & Assembly

  • The model is split into 2 print plates — print both
  • Superglue required:
    • Glue the platform connector rods to each wheel platform
  • Once assembled:
    • Place the car onto the platform
    • Insert the pillars to secure the level

Pillars design:

  • Reinforced with cross structures for added strength
  • The flatter X side is for the bottom so it doesn’t block the wheel/rim display
  • Print additional sets to stack more levels

⚠️ Notes

  • Designed around most LEGOs Technic 1:8 cars
  • Porsche 911 GT3 RS (42056) has a slightly different wheelbase and may not sit perfectly
  • Best placed on a stable, flat surface

🚗 Compatible Sets

  • 42056 – Porsche 911 GT3 RS (fit not perfect)
  • 42083 – Bugatti Chiron
  • 42115 – Lamborghini Sián
  • 42143 – Ferrari Daytona SP3
  • 42172 – McLaren P1
