Novopen Snap Case

I modified the great case by user_2395856282 to fit my own needs. The following changes were made:

• The needle spaces were increased to fit my “BD” needles. Should still fit others.
• I modified the hinges to have fewer seperate parts
• The hinge hole is larger and allows you to insert a piece of 1.75mm filament (I recommend PETG) and melt the ends to lock it in place
• I added a second opening for the number counter bump to make placing the pen in the case easier
• I increased the depth and spacing of the magnet holes since they were both too tight and not deep enough for 6x3mm magnets

You may need to open and close the case a few times with a little bit of force after adding the filament to the hinge, it will quickly wear in.

Make sure you place the magnets properly! The halves need to attract and not repulse, obviously… it helps greatly to put a little marker dot on one side of each magnet.

The case fits both the Novopen 5 and Novopen 6.

I printed it in 0.12mm layer height just for slightly smoother curves, but it should work as well in 0.2mm and print a bit faster.

You can also select a different pattern for the first layer of each half to pretty it up.
