Description

Disclaimer: I am by no means a pro at designing. This worked for me and hope it will work for you.

I was looking for a low profile solution to mounting my cases to a sheet of plywood and came up with this idea. This mounting system consists of four locating feet, four rod holders, and two rods.

Installation Instructions:

I recommend adding some double sided tape to the locating feet and holding them to the bottom of the case when you place the case down one corner or side at a time, so they do not move. Then repeat with each other corner or side. Once they have been taped down, use either #6 or #8 screws. Recommend small button head so the head does not interfere with the cross brace inside the foot on the case. (Truss head is too wide)

Once you have positioned the case on the feet, put the rod through two of the holders and place in the receiving hooks on the case. Drill down the holder and repeat for the other side.

I have been printing these at 95% infill for the rod and holder, 25% infill for the locating feet.
