Description
Fingerdisc (locally known as Prstomet) is a traditional Slovenian game of precision and tactics, perfect for all generations. It is a dynamic evolution of ancient games where shepherds threw flat stones, now refined into a modern competitive sport.
This 3D-printable version allows you to bring this fun, portable game to your backyard, park, or even indoors!
Why you’ll love it:
- Play Anywhere: Designed for grass, concrete, sand, or dirt.
- Skill-Based: Improves hand-eye coordination and tactical thinking.
- Portable: Lightweight and easy to carry on trips or to the beach.
- Material Versatility: While traditionally made of rubber, these discs work great in PLA/PETG for outdoor use, or TPU (flexible) for a premium, "no-bounce" experience that mimics official competition discs.
🛠 Assembly Instructions (Important!)
To achieve the official symmetrical shape and optimal weight, each disc is designed in two halves.
- Print two halves for every disc.
- Glue them together using a strong adhesive (like CA glue/superglue or specialized plastic/flexible glue if using TPU).
- Ensure the surfaces are clean before gluing for the best bond.
How to Play (Quick Rules)
The goal is to toss your large discs as close as possible to the small target disc (The Jack).
- Players: * Individual: 2 to 4 players, each playing for themselves.
- Teams: 4 players divided into 2 pairs.
- The Set: * 8 Large Discs (Shooters): Print 2 discs in 4 different colors. This allows every player to have their own color in a 4-player game, or teams to combine colors.
- 1 Small Disc (The Jack): Print in a bright, high-visibility color.
- The Start: One player throws the Jack (distance 2m–10m) and then throws their first large disc.
- The Turn: Players/teams throw until one of their discs is closer to the Jack than the current leader's. The round ends when all 8 discs are thrown.
- Scoring: Only the winner(s) of the round score. They receive 1 point for every disc that is closer to the Jack than the best disc of any opponent.
- Winning: The first to reach 13 points wins the set.
Enjoy the game and aim true!
