Description
Ah, a vase… One of many, I'm sure. Makerworld has loads of vases. A lot of pretty ones, of course, but none of them look like mine.
You see, I had this beautiful vase, but two days ago my cat decided to rub against it and make it fall off the table… And as it lay there, I was quickly looking up if I could buy it again from the store it came from. But alas, it was no longer being sold, and so I was vaseless. Here's my poor vase:
That was until I remembered, Makerworld offers a “Make My Vase” tool. And so I quickly measured the broken vase as best as I could and started creating a similar model. And the end result is here: a gorgeous minimalist vase!
Yes, fake flowers, but that's because the cat (who broke the vase) likes chewing plants and flowers. Can't even enjoy real flowers in this house without her perforating them… But at least these don't need water and will stay forever, so there's that.
With a fuzzy skin on the outside, the design looks like a real handmade ceramic vase. It is 25cm tall, has an opening width of 9cm, and is 16cm wide. It weighs a balanced 532 grams, which makes it feel even more like a real ceramic vase! It should technically be leak-resistant (it has 4 walls and has a thickness of 2.4mm), but I haven't tested it yet. Printing time is about 8 hours and 34 minutes. I printed it in Bambu Lab PLA Matte Ivory White, because it has that gorgeous matte effect.
