Kobra X Z-axis harness cable chain
Print Profile(1)

Description
Recently, I've been considering an enclosure solution for the Kobra X, as the side and back cable harnesses occupy a significant amount of space. The enclosure would need a relatively large area, and I was concerned about the cable harness rubbing against it. Therefore, referencing other solutions, I decided to first create a cable chain for it.
I looked at several A1 solutions online, and the cable chains were quite complex, typically involving a chain with side clips that snap together or left and right clips snapping together, which I felt was unnecessarily complicated.
I simplified it to identical clips that can be installed by just matching them front-to-back. The cable chain itself is designed to guide and restrict the movement and deformation of the cable harness; there's no need to completely enclose the cable harness.
The complete set includes 4 types of parts:
- Bottom clip, which clips into the cable groove at the bottom of the Kobra X. Since there isn't much structure to use at the bottom, it's directly clipped in and held down by the printer body itself. I tested it, and it won't come off.
- Top clip, which requires disassembling the right side cover and clipping the groove on the clip into the existing cable outlet hole.
- Limiting clip, similar to (part) 2. After clipping in (part) 2, clip the original cable into the cable hole of (part) 2, then install (part) 3 on the outside to secure it, preventing the cable harness from coming loose inside and preventing (part) 2 from moving back and forth within the opening.
- Chain links, install sequentially along the cable, alternating front and back clips. The clip positions have chamfered edges, making installation very easy.
I've used it for two days since completion, printing 6 parts for about 12 hours, and haven't encountered any other issues.
I used PETG and haven't tested PLA, so I recommend using PETG
