Kenku Bookmark – Hueforge

This Kenku bookmark captures the quiet intensity of a hooded avian rogue poised mid-step in a mist-shrouded wilderness. Framed within the tall, narrow composition, the bird-folk figure crouches low, taloned feet gripping uneven ground while one clawed hand steadies a short blade. The curved beak and glowing eyes emerge from beneath a heavy hood, creating a focused, calculating expression that perfectly embodies the enigmatic nature of the Kenku.

Designed specifically for high-contrast Hueforge layered filament printing, the artwork relies on deep black negative space to establish atmosphere and depth. Pale filament layers sculpt the layered feathers, textured cloak folds, and leather armour details, producing a striking dimensional relief. Fine tonal separation across the plumage enhances feather definition, while subtle transitions in the background suggest drifting mist and distant trees without distracting from the central subject.
