Ghoul Bookmark – Hueforge

This Ghoul bookmark captures a visceral moment of undead ferocity. Lunging forward from the shadows of a crumbling crypt, the gaunt figure stretches one clawed hand toward the viewer, mouth frozen in a silent, ravenous scream. Sunken eyes glow pale against a skull-like face, while ragged hair and decaying flesh frame the creature’s emaciated form. The tall, narrow composition intensifies the confrontation, amplifying the sense that the ghoul is breaking through the boundary between page and reader.

Engineered for high-contrast Hueforge layered filament printing, the artwork leverages stark black negative space to heighten depth and drama. Lighter filament layers sculpt the ghoul’s exposed bone structure, torn garments, and sinewed limbs, producing a dimensional relief effect that becomes more pronounced as light shifts across the surface. Fine detailing along the jawline, teeth, and fingers reinforces the predatory tension of the pose, while layered tonal transitions suggest stone archways and crypt walls fading into darkness above.
