Description

Having seen that logo online for the 50th anniversary, I decided to get a physical version for my desk. Then I spotted some pictures on IG and X showing people at the Apple Party and realised there was a giant sculpture of the logo.

This sparked my obsession. I immediately went to Fusion to sketch the initial shape. However, the main challenge was finding a way to print individual elements and assemble them without glue. Then I remembered my hello sign and yes, dovetails were the solution.
The six pieces have different heights to ensure this item can stand balanced on your desk or wherever you choose to place it.

I’m working on finding a different attachment solution but for now I’m happy with what I have and I hope it’s helpful to you too.

🛠️ To attach the leaf part, I used Clear Cupcake Topper Sticks (8 inches / 2 mm) found on Amazon. I’ve tried different dimensions but 14mm is closest to the original logo.
💡 To help everyone cut those sticks to the right size, I’ve developed a hack based on this fantastic design ( and YES, you’ll need to print the cutter first before using my hack 😉). You can find it in two versions: 14mm and 16mm.

You can find three different profiles here:

  • Apple 50th_v3, a rainbow version with dovetails (the main one)
  • Apple 50th_v1, a solid and rainbow colours version without dovetails
  • Apple 50th_v4, a solid and rainbow-coloured version without dovetails, with pieces at the same height (flat)

📽️For help with assembly, this short video will be helpful.

Printed with Bambulab PLA Matte filaments and eSun for the purple one, it has dimensions of 100x100mm
