Description

Tired of constantly washing 4" filter socks? Me too! I present the drop in filter floss replacement for dirty filter socks. Fill the basket with cheap poly fill used for pillows and you are all set. When dirty, just throw away the floss and replace with fresh. No more dirty socks. PETG is the preferred material to withstand aquatic conditions.  the added slots on the walls are to prevent over flow, if filter media becomes clogged, thus saving your return pump from running dry.

This is my first ever design. As a reef hobbyist i couldn't think of a better way to start.  I appreciate any and all feedback in ways to make this design better.

I changed the support settings for easier removal. these should be in the downloaded profile but in case they aren't.

Top Z distance 0.3

Top layers 3

Tree support slim.

these settings allowed for a ring to be produced just below the actual rim of the print. that lower ring can be separated and pulled off completely when pushed toward the bottom of the print.
