Description
An hexagonal filament sample.
I wanted something small with enough space for fitting the manufacturer, color and material on it.
And because hexagons are the bestagons
This model is intended to be customizable in slicer.
The transparency windows displays layers of 0.2 mm increments (0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0 mm).

- All texts are customizable in slicer
- Manufacturer text
- Color text
- Material text
- Transparency test with 0.2 mm increments
How to customize your sample in slicer
- Go to Object View
- Change your sample color to the desired color
- In the object view, select the text to modify
- Click on the Text tool in the toolbar
- Change text
- Adapt Size
- Don't go below 5.0 text size, or it will be hardly readable
- Click on Move tool in the toolbar
- Use the align center (X) for re-centering text
- Use the grab handles for moving the text alongside an axis
Print profile
- 0.20mm (for transparency window)
- Print by object
If anyone is interested in being able to customize the model online for changing manufacturer, colors and material, I can invest some time for adapting the model for OpenSCAD.
