Description

Welcome to the tiny daily ritual of tool-drawer sanity: this 3×3 Gridfinity bin is purpose-built for the Klein Tools 85515HD tight-spaces kit—the mini ratchet, 12-in-1 impact stubby multi-bit driver, 5-in-1 SAE impact socket set, and bits.

The top surface is recessed so the bin stays stackable (thanks to the lip), while still keeping everything easy to grab. Not every piece sits perfectly flush—and that’s intentional—because the goal here is secure storage that’s still fast to use, with finger cutouts right where you need them.

Height: 6U

Features

  • Designed for the Klein Tools 85515HD kit (the set shown)
  • Gridfinity 3×3 footprint with a stackable lip
  • 6U height for a compact-but-capable tool kit bin
  • Recessed top keeps the bin stackable while tools remain easy to remove
  • Drop-in pockets (no press-fit wrestling matches)
  • Finger cutouts for quick grab-and-go where it matters
  • Dedicated pockets help prevent rattling, shifting, and “where’d that bit go?”
  • Practical proud/flush mix: parts that should sit proud do, for easier access

Print Recommendations

  • Orientation: Print flat on the bed (as modeled)
  • Material: PLA works great for drawer bins; PETG if you want extra toughness/heat resistance
  • Layer height: 0.20 mm (0.16 mm if you want extra crisp pocket edges)
  • Walls: 3–4
  • Infill: 10–20% (Gyroid or Grid)
  • Top/Bottom layers: 4–5
  • Supports: None expected

Fit tip: If your printer runs tight, a small XY/horizontal expansion tweak (or quick deburr) can dial in that “drops in clean, lifts out easy” feel.

Fitment Note

Designed for the Klein Tools 85515HD tight-spaces kit. If Klein revises the kit contents/geometry, verify fit before printing multiples.
