Description
Mini Bambu Lab scraper
Are you using plastic scraper to remove prints from your bed and to protect the bed surface, but sometimes you still need the metal blade to remove the more stubborn brims or sticky PETG residue?
I was in the same situation and I was not happy with the large scraper grips as they were not suitable for more delicate removal - especially as I want to keep the bed surface intact.
I designed this scraper grip to support small, “2 finger” scraping of material residue and stubborn brims. The angled design allows to comfortably hold a small angle position while using the scraper.
The scraper is designed to be used with the Bambu Lab provided blade and screws
The project consists of 3 + 1 files:
- Scraper body - dotted surface for better grip. Big thanks to CNC Kitchen's BumpMesh tool: https://bumpmesh.com/
- Print it on it's side
- Retainer: this part holds the blade in it's place. It has holes for the screws Bambu Lab provides with the printers
- Print it on it's side - however if you get layer separation during screwing in the screws, you can try printing it bottom down (it won't look as good, but should work)
- Blade cover: a little sock like part to cover the end of the blade for safety
- Print it on it's side with brim - you can get away with not using brim if you are using a build plate like SuperTack
- +1 Scraper body without the surface texture.
- You can add your own fuzzy skin or even use the previously mentioned BumpMesh to add your preferred pattern
You feedback is appreciated. If there is any demand for a holder, let me know and I will find some time to make the model.
