Who would have thought waffles could be storage boxes 🧇
When I was modeling, I thought it would be a bit wasteful to just print an ornament; it needed some practical use.
So I came up with this—the small compartments on top are perfect for small items like fuse beads, and putting them in one by one is surprisingly stress-relieving.
I used light brown filament, and it really came out looking like a waffle. My friend's first reaction was "Can I eat this?" 😂
It's not too big, so it doesn't take up much space on the desk, but it's super convenient for storing small parts. No more worrying about fuse beads rolling everywhere.
I didn't use supports when printing, so the surface is clean and saved a lot of trouble.
The size of the compartments was adjusted repeatedly; they are perfect for standard-sized fuse beads, so they won't fall out or get stuck.
Now it sits on my desk, serving as both a decoration and a storage box. Just looking at it makes me happy.
Next time, I plan to print another one in a different color to complete a "Breakfast Series" 🥞.
The joy of 3D printing is probably being able to create any cute little thing you want yourself ✌️
