Centauri Carbon Filament Sensor Relocate

The Centauri Carbon has been a great machine for me, but I was not content with the initial filament feed path.  I prefer to to print from a filament dryer box, but while doing so, the filament would bind  due to the runout sensor being mounted so low.  Moving the sensor up a few inches solved the problem, and still works great with the original spool holder.

This mount will require a wire extenstion for the sensor.  I made my own since I already had the JST connectors on hand, but they can be purchased as well.

I included two versions, one that takes an M3 heat insert, and one that just takes a self tapping screw right into the plastic.

No supports needed.
