Description

I think I have set these up correctly for Flames of War!?

1:100

I do not have access to my FoW models, so please post a comment to let me know how the scale looks against the originals.

Feel free to use your own print settings and profiles.

The gun barrel is a little thin, I might strengthen it later…

Flames of War (FoW) T-34 tanks are produced in 1:100 scale (often called 15mm scale for wargaming purposes).

Bolt Action (BA) T-34 tanks are in 1:56 scale (28mm scale).

To make a FoW T-34 compatible in size with a Bolt Action T-34, you need to enlarge it so the linear dimensions match the larger scale.

Scale Factor Calculation

  • 1/100 to 1/56 ratio: 100 ÷ 56 ≈ 1.7857
  • You must increase the scale by approximately 1.79 times (or about 79% larger in each dimension: length, width, and height).

In practical terms:

  • Multiply all dimensions (or the model in a 3D scanner/resizer) by ~1.79×.
  • This makes the FoW tank roughly the same physical size as a stock BA or other 28mm/1:56 vehicle.
