Incoming dropship reinforcements got you down? Well have I got a deal for you!
I whipped up a simple, rotating, one filament change orbital gun print that will be as good of a mission objective as it is just a cool set piece for your Battletech games. I've left the filament change at layer 14 on the hex base in this file. Start with your map color of choice and change to a grey or tan to make the ground details stand out.
This print has some snap together components, utilizing a mechanism of my own design (taking name suggestions… Scott-lock?). Once you snap the rotating assembly together, it is not coming apart intact. So make sure you follow the two assembly steps in the pics in order: base ring first, turret on top second.
Print this at .4mm without modifying the settings and it will come out great. Trust me - It doesn't need any more supports than the file settings already include, Bambu Studio and I agree to disagree on this one.
