Caringmen Statue

The statue depicts an action at London’s Paddington Station. It is a social action for more equality in care work. With an artistic intervention in public space, the project makes visible how unequally care work is distributed – and why fathers play a central role for genuine equality. For this, around Equal Care Day (March 1), male statues are equipped with dolls and baby carriers and reinterpreted as caregiving figures.
