Notes:
connecting_sleeve.stl:
This should be printed without supports in the provided orientation. First TPU is printed for the first 254 layers (50.8 mm). After this, a pause on height is inserted in the G-code to change to a rigid filament. I had good success with ABS or ASA with good adhesion to the TPU, but you could potentially print in your preferred material such as PLA or PETG.
retainer.stl:
This should be printed with the threaded part upwards. Now available in version without requirement of support. ABS worked perfectly for this, but you could potentially print in your preferred material such as PLA or PETG. Make sure that the thin lip on the inside rim gets printed properly as this will mate with the vacuum hose.
snap_ring.stl:
I have found that the snap ring should be printed in a semi-flexible material, otherwise it will break the layer adhesion. PBT worked perfectly due to strong layer bonding. I would assume Nylon would be good too. I tried with PETG and ABS, which both snapped, but were still usable if care was taken.
